Adkins & Sons Masonry was founded in 1984 by Walla Walla local, Kenny Adkins. An accomplished brick mason, his notable contributions include Downtown Walla Walla’s land title square and Leonetti Cellar’s tasting room. In 1992, at just 10 years old, Kenny began passing down the family trade to his son, Tyler, who found he had a natural talent for masonry and construction.
Instilled with his father’s values of community and service, Tyler went on to work on larger projects through larger outfitters, developing his skills and equipment experience. He began taking independent side jobs on evenings and weekends, while continuing to work a full-time union job. After meeting young entrepreneur Parker Dressler in the spring of 2019, the two set out to transform Adkins & Sons, looking to capture a corner of the construction industry they saw lacking.
