For this project the team had to face quite a challenge. First we sheared up the truss framing, Then we built an over engineered post & Beam temporary support, from those posts we jacked the barn up from the interior about 6". Holy cow a floating barn. While the barn is suspended we formed & poured a new foundation, replaced the old sil with an updated pressure treated green plate. As we set the barn down we made use of a lot of screws & some come alongs to pull our exterior walls square and plumb. Once the structure was back down to its home, we added additional cross brace framing to ensure the walls will stay put. Our customer got to renew his 100 year old barn to its former glory so it can hopefully go another 100 years.
